Parish Bus Trip to Corbett Gardens Bowral Wednesday 19th September 2018.
With the sun shining 50 very excited parishioners joined Jim Hawkesford on his bus for a day trip to Corbett Gardens at Bowral.
It was a most pleasant drive stopping at Mittagong Park for morning tea and then onto Corbett Gardens for a viewing of the magnificent tulips and beautiful floral display in the gardens.
We strolled around the grounds and also indulged in purchasing some local craft goods while the band played some very enjoyable music.
We left the gardens and proceeded to Mittagong RSL where we were greeted by a smiling staff
.A sumptuous buffet had been prepared and all enjoyed lunch. After lunch and lots of friendly conversations we made our return journey to Sydney and arrived back about 5 pm.
Everyone enjoyed a very enjoyable day and all thanked Anne Manenti and Helen Behan for co-coordinating the bus trip.
