RECONCILIATION

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available in the church on Saturday afternoons from 5.30pm until the Vigil Mass commences at 6pm.

Special requests for Reconciliation can be made by contacting the parish office on Tuesdays & Fridays or emailing parish@stpatsmortlake.org.au

FIRST RECONCILIATION

Enquiries to register a candidate to receive First Reconciliation can be made by contacting Robert Mayor, the Parish Sacramental Program Coordinator, at mayor@leasing.net.au or Ph. 97361161.

FIRST RECONCILIATION 2019

The Sacrament of First Reconciliation is usually held in the parish in the first third of each year. Candidates are usually in school years 2 and 3 and most are Catholic students from Mortlake Primary School however all candidates are welcome.  The Sacrament itself is preceded by four instruction sessions held on the preceding four Monday afternoons in the parish hall between 4.15pm and 5.15pm. Candidates are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian as a sign of the support of the family in this important stage in their spiritual development.

The children will celebrate their first Reconciliation on Friday evening 5th April at 7.00pm

Please keep these children and their parents in your prayers during the next four weeks.

Instruction Mondays:
Parish Hall  4.15pm – 5.15pm

  1. Session 1: 11th March
  2. Session 2: 18th March
  3. Session 3: 25th March
  4. Session 4: 1st April

Reconciliation:
Friday 5th April at 7.00 pm
